Description
The Sclavo Chromogenic Protein C Kit is intended for the quantitative determination of protein C in human plasma using a chromogenic assay method. Protein C is a vitamin K dependent protein which plays an important role in the regulation of anticoagulant mechanisms. Both hereditary and acquired Protein C deficiencies have been shown to be a risk factor for development of venous thrombosis. The device can be used both with manual or automated methods.
